NEW PREMISES

VISIT OUR NEW PREMISES IN CARNMORE, GALWAY

We are delighted that our new dealership facility is now open back at our original location in Carnmore, Galway - just off Exit 19 on the M6 motorway.

As of June 1st 2022, we are fully operational at our brand new facility for both sales and service. We are very much looking forward to welcoming all of our customers and friends, both old and new, to our new home which we are very proud of.

Having started with a blank canvas in 2017, we set out to design and build a facility that reflected the ethos of our business, which is to deliver the best possible customer service in a simple but professional manner. Because we are an independent dealership without the support or design influence of a particular brand of vehicle, it was, paradoxically, both a challenge and a dream to have the opportunity to come up with a design reflective of who we are and what we do. With the guidance and experience of Sharon Matthews, a Galway-based interior designer, and local architect Richard Huggart of OAS Architects, we imagined and designed a dealership with a contemporary feel to reflect the quality of the vehicles we sell.

Rather than simply building a soulless showroom and workshop facility, we have built a facility full of character. From a spacious showroom area with open plan offices and a luxurious waiting area, to a bright and purposeful service department - both supported by a large car park with wide car parking spaces - we think we have created a place that our customers will love to visit. And with over 80 vehicle display spaces and parking for an additional 60 vehicles between public and service parking, we now have one of the biggest dealership facilities in the West of Ireland, offering our customers the best and widest range of vehicles in the region.

With construction starting in late 2019, March 2020 saw the first of the Covid related lockdowns come into effect - and so we were stalled (to say the least!!). With the remainder of 2020 more or less consumed with Covid lockdowns and restrictions, it was mid-2021 before we reopened the site and continued with the task at hand. With huge thanks and admiration for our building contractors, McConway Construction, and their lead engineer Melissa Sheridan, we took our time in finishing out the project to ensure that every little detail was dealt with. It may have taken a lot longer than we initially anticipated but we are so happy with the final product and we hope our customers are too.

At this point, we would like to again thank William Campbell, Gene McConway and Melissa Sheridan of McConway Construction, our main contractor; plus all of their subcontractors and suppliers who worked around the clock to overcome some serious building product and labour shortages to have us in our new premises as quickly as was possible.

We would also like to thank our customers for their patience in dealing with us from our temporary location which, due to traffic and other geographical constraints, was not ideal.

We can only say that the wait was worth it and we look forward to welcoming both current and prospective customers to our new home in the future.
