Niall Cunningham - Managing Director
Patrick Madden - Service Manager
Darragh Cunningham - Vehicle Preparation Manager
Niall has worked in the Motor Industry all of his career and has been self-employed in his own business since 1999.
Hailing from Tullamore, Co. Offaly, he is the third generation of his family to work in the motor business with his Grandfather Frank Cunningham (and his sons) starting a Volkswagen Dealership, F. Cunningham and Sons, in Tullamore in the 1950s.
Niall initially studied Automotive Engineering in Bolton Street College of Technology where he gained a Diploma in Automotive Engineering and Motor Industry Management.
He also holds a Degree in Corporate Finance and more recently gained a First Class Masters Degree in Business from the Cairns Business School at National University of Ireland, Galway.
His knowledge of all facets of both motor vehicles and the motor industry at large is both extensive and authoritative.
Outside of work he is the proud holder of a private pilots licence and enjoys travelling, playing music, keeping up with technological trends as well as being kept very busy with his sports mad ten year old Daughter who is both a soccer (Liverpool) and GAA (Offaly and Galway) supporter as well as being a loyal member of Carnmore Camogie Club.
He is also a fluent 'Gaeilgeoir' and enjoys speaking Irish on a regular basis.
Patrick hails from Moycullen in Galway and lives there with his wife and young family.
He joined Niall in 2006 as a service advisor and progressed to Service Manager within a short space of time. His knowledge of all things cars is second to none and he is renowned for his customer service skills, such is his outgoing character.
He is an integral part of our business and leads our service and parts department today with dedication and vision. Patrick ensures that each and every car we sell and service is done so with extreme care paid to quality and technical expertise.
His skills extend to a wide technical knowledge of the majority of car brands, especially premium brands, which is a unique characteristic for a service manager in today's increasingly single-brand focus within individual car dealerships.
Outside of work, Patrick keeps busy helping his father Timmy on the family farm and most importantly is Daddy to four beautiful young girls.
Darragh, Niall's brother, although being a proud Tullamore man, has lived in Galway City for over twenty years.
He has worked in the car business since he joined Niall in early 2000.
He is an intrinsic part of our business today and is responsible for ensuring that each vehicle we display and sell is prepared to the highest of standards.
Darragh is also responsible for managing the logistics of our vehicle stock which involves hundreds of vehicle movements each month. Working with both internal and external stakeholders in the preparation of our vehicles, Darragh's eye for detail is unrivalled when it comes to both vehicle interiors and exteriors.
Outside of Cunningham Autopoint, Darragh is a keen musician and also likes to travel to far-flung places as often as possible.
He is a much-loved uncle to six nieces and nephews who all love to see him coming, such is his generosity and fun-loving attitude to life.
